An experience off the beaten track! Magnificent views of Kilimanjaro on a clear day. A change of scenery guaranteed.

DID YOU SAY BIG 5?

You may be lucky enough to meet the BIG 5. The parks you'll be passing through include the group of five mammals mentioned by Hemingway: the lion, the leopard, the elephant, the buffalo and the rhinoceros. Manyara Park is part of the Rift Valley, and its immense lake will allow you to discover colonies of pink flamingos and all kinds of birds living on the lake's shores. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the famous lions in the trees. The park is very narrow, wedged between the lake and the cliffs of the Rift Valley. The rainforest is very dense, especially in the north.

  6. DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER

Early morning departure for the Ngorongora Crater and 4x4 safari in the crater.

Overnight in a hotel with swimming pool, directly on the seafront, with your feet in the sand.

  9. DAY 9: ZANZIBAR ISLAND

Free day on the beach of Zanzibar.

There are plenty of activities on offer: diving, kite surfing, snorkelling, boating, quad biking, etc.

Zanzibar certainly conjures up images of the legendary spice trading post of yesteryear. Arab merchants, and in particular the Sultan of Oman, were quick to see the potential of its fertile land and advantageous geographical location.
Ivory and slaves from the African continent also made this trading post rich.
Today, Zanzibar is best known for its white sandy beaches, dolphins and comfortable hotels. Tourism has developed a great deal, especially in the last 15 years, but Zanzibar and above all its inhabitants still live at a pace and in a culture completely different from the rest of the world.

Second night in a hotel with swimming pool, directly on the seafront with your feet in the sand.

  10. DAY 10: ZANZIBAR ISLAND

Second full day on the beach.

Third night in a hotel with swimming pool, right on the seafront with your feet in the sand.

  11. DAY 11: ZANZIBAR AIRPORT - END
